Presentation to Kevin Bray by Tony Cosens in recognition of his service to the Association

Catsfield are Lower Divisions Cup Winners

Well done to Catfield who came from a goal down at half-time to win the Hastings F A Lower Divisions Cup with a 2-1 victory over Crowhurst III in another very close final at the Pilot Field last night.
Crowhurst took the lead early on through a superb free-kick fired into the top corner of the net by Nathan Dolby and deservedly held the advantage until the interval.
After the break Catsfield came more into the game and turned the final on it's head with two goals in three minutes midway through the second half with strikes from Adam Barham and Jacob Jones.
The impressive trophy was presented to winning captain David Booth by Hastings F A president Tony Cosens assisted by chairman Eddie Potter.
The Association would like to thank the match officials Steve Brook, Ken Brook, Lewis Bellamy and Nick Baker, Hastings United Football Club for hosting the final and all those who came along to support the two teams.
Prior to the final a presentation was made to Hastings F A fixture secretary Kevin Bray, also well-known to everyone connected with football locally for his involvement with the East Sussex Football League for over 30 years. Kevin has relinquished his posts having moved away from the area and the Hastings and District Football Association would like to put on record their appreciation and gratitude for everything Kevin has done not only for the Association but for local football in general.
