Exciting End to a Great Season

The 2012/2013 Devon Ability Counts Season came to a close at Tavistock Community College on Sunday 19th May.

Over 30 teams including women and juniors arrived at Tavistock Community College to contest the final day of the Devon Ability Counts Leagues. Some of the league positions were already cemented in place,however as a full round of league games were about to take place there were indeed still many honours to play for.There was throughout the day the twists and turns within the leagues that mirrored some of the professional football ends of season. Every league was keenly contested with a great deal of cameraderie between ALL players and coaches .As the curtain closed on the season and players gathered for the presentations ,Dai Carpenter ,Devon FA Disability Development Officer,along with league officials declared the season to be 'The best ever in its history' and look forward to including more teams next season.
