Kirby Muxloe Youth are Champions.

Kirby Muxloe Youth are Champions of the Northern Division with two games to play. Only 1 defeat, only 11 goals conceded and 84 goals scored to date indicates why they have taken the title.

For most of the season Holwell Sports Youth were in touch, and their fixture against Kirby Muxloe Youth on the 30th April was always looking to be the decider. Now it is not significant, although Holwell still need 1 victory in their remaining 3 matches to take the runners-up spot.

In the top verses the bottom clash, Kirby Muxloe Youth showed no mercy by handing out Ratby Sports Youth a 16-0 thrashing, their leading trio of goal scorers pocketing 9 of the goals (Matt Melbourne 4, Stef Stapleton 3 and Darren Taylor 2).

On paper Holwell Sports Youth looked favourites to beat second bottom Cottesmore Juniors, but a 1-1 draw handed the title to Kirby Muxloe.

Heather St Johns Youth currently in third spot need a victory in their final match at Cottesmore to pressurise Holwell. However, they can boast having the Golden Boot winner in Danny Quinn, who needs 3 goals in that match to break the 40 mark.
