UPDATE 4 August SUNDAY section
Following the withdrawal today of Beeston Park Rangers & Sneinton Town the Sunday section now has 30 teams apologies to AFC Mansfield, Calverton & Ravenshead who have been moved to make the section 3 Divisions of 10 teams.

YEL u11 Sat section 60 teams and generally its 2 or 3 up and down from each Division because we have gone for 5 Divisions of 12 teams, this will mean matches being played October half term to ensure completion by Christmas and discussed using 3G central venue in December if required for key games. Should the Divisions not be completed by Christmas this could impact on size of Divisions in the New Year. Once fixtures announced don;t be afraid to pull in a local midweek league game.

On Sunday it was not so easy as we have gone from 24 teams up to 30 teams so an extra Division is required and smaller top Division, couple of the new teams should ideally be in Div 1 but sub committee this would have been unfair on existing teams who finished mid table last time. We accept at this age group there are some new and existing teams in Div 2 that would like to have been in Div 1 but impossible to please everyone !!

There is NO Appeal process but teams can inform the YEL if we have made a mistake or missed out any teams

Reminder all last season teams must return the YEL Retention form by strictly 22 July and all teams must have minimum 7 players registered with YEL by 31 July.

We are currently working on the YEL Contact Directory and hope to have ready early August.

The Fixtures will be announced Wed 6 August subject to all teams having players registered.

Any teams with specific pitch sharing requests should email yel@live.co.uk but our policy will be to trya nd place 50% of Club home/away each week
