Tenembee secure first trophy of the BDFL 2014/2015 season with a 3-2 win vs Beaverwood Sports.

Tenembee twice came from behind to win the Ashgrove Trophy at Beckenham Town FC last night.

Beaverwood went ahead after a long punt upfield caught the Tenembee keeper out and the ball bounced up and over his head and into the net.

Tenembee struck the equaliser just before half time with a deflected shot to level the scores and make it 1-1 at HT.

Almost immediately from the kick off, Beaverwood Sports restored their lead when an attempted clearance from a corner was sliced into his own net by one of the Tenembee players.

Tenembee equalised for the second time with a tidy finish at the back post before securing the trophy with a third goal that was crossed in deep and a great first touch from the striker allowed him all the time in the world to pick his spot and put Tenembee in front for the first time all game.

Beaverwood threw everything they could forward in search of an equaliser and with almost the last kick of the game looked to have sent the game to extra time with a volley from the edge of the area seemingly on its way into the top corner only for the Tenembee keeper to make amends for the first goal with an stupendous save.

Congratulations to Tenembee on securing the first trophy of the season and lets hope the other cup finals can be as entertaining.
